Getting started...

Hi, I'm Geoff and I am the property inspector at Century 21 Advance Realty. I complete all the routine inspections at each property and liaise with each property manager prior to the inspection being finalized. This means that the manager is always kept in the loop, checks photos and is aware of anything that needs to be bought to the owner's attention.

I also do something that other agents done do, which is conduct some simple maintenance whilst I am there. I can help tenants do basic stuff - the oldies love it, as well as conduct easy fixes, which means the landlords save money by not having to engage a contractor for simple things. If I have to fix anything, I will note it on the inspection report. If I can't fix it, or if it is something that requires a contractor, eg plumber or electrician, I will alert the property manager and she will make contact with the owner.

How can I do this? I used to own the Nannup Hardware store for 10,000 years so I have a great background in knowing how to fix things!

All of this is done at no charge for our owners, unless parts are required, then we get approval first.
